Hey All!

I grew up in a small town tucked into the North West corner of Iowa. Despite the sometimes frigid weather, I really enjoyed it and love Iowa! My Grandparents raised me from birth, so I do not have a traditional upbringing in the sense of it, but a good one none the less.

I received my B.S. in Interior Design from Wayne State College in Wayne Nebraska in 2002. Since 2006 to present times, I have worked in the field of Kitchen Design, loving every second of it. I moved to Alabama in early 2009 and really enjoy it! Aside from the humidity and amount of Pine trees, it reminds me of Iowa in a lot of ways.

In regards to design, I have loved it since I can remember life. I have always had the drive to create spaces that felt good. My grandma did a major redesign of the house we lived in when I was around six years old. I remember her letting me “help” her with the design and I was over the moon. A few months or so after the redesign was complete, she had an Interior Designer friend over to visit. I will never forget how it felt when the designer complimented Grandma on how everything looked and Grandma said that I had helped her A LOT. *Kudos to Grandma*
